It is too often that we see a client who has met with an attorney and has an unfunded or underfunded estate plan or a business organization that is not congruent with the needs of its owners; or a client who has consulted with a non-lawyer professional planner under the impression that the insurance they have purchased is all the planning that is required. Both alternatives may be a disservice to the client's needs, and can act as limited solutions while possibly neglecting the ultimate goal of helping the client.
